On July 7th, 2016, CPE inaugurated the new expanded plant in Glimboca, Romania, with an event open to stakeholders, employees and journalists. With this expansion, CPE - with a current production of 130,000 pieces/year - puts the bases to increase the total annual production capacity to over 300,000 units/year in this plant, strengthening the Group's competitiveness in an field where it is already a worldwide leader. CPE, the only manufacturer of cash registers in Romania, wants to support the Government as a local manufacturer with know how in the field of tax systems.
