Established in Milan in 1948, Zenith soon became a national historical brand in the weighing industry, consolidating its status as a reference partner for large scale retailers.

1952

RSA dial scale

The dial scale, named RSA, has made the history of Zenith's brand.

1968

LE 30

In the late 1960s, the production of the first "Tag Printers" was started: electromechanical tools that imprinted, like a typewriter, the weight on a tag.

1972

TE

In the early 1970s, the very first TEs (ET- Electromechanical Terminals) were not as small and compact as they are today, but in a weighing platform this was hardly noticeable.

1975

Pulsar

Pulsar is the first electronic scale to enter the "firmament" (hence its name) of Zenith Bilance.

1978

The first integrated circuits

Integrated circuits open the era of electronic scales. Their essential components are the weight transducer, display screen, CPU board and printer. Since then, the evolution has been continuous.

1980

Automatic labeling

In the early 1980s, organized distribution required tools for automatic package labeling: Zenith met also this need.

1985

Point of sale computerization

In the mid-1980s, programing master records through a Personal Computer was not such a common operation: Zenith was already structured to do this.

2011

The partnership with Italiana Macchi

In 2011, the Zenith brand becomes part of the Italiana Macchi family.

2016

Equa 7000

Innovation and tradition are the characteristics of the latest model in the Equa family: 12-inch display monitor and touch screen keyboard.

2018

The partnership with Custom Group

In 2018, Italiana Macchi, and consequently also the Zenith brand, joined Custom S.p.A.'s galaxy.
