On 7 July 2016, CPE inaugurated the expansion of its plant in Glimboca, Romania, with an event attended by stakeholders, employees and journalists. With this expansion, CPE - currently producing 130,000 units/year - lays the foundations for increasing the plant's total annual production capacity to over 300,000 units/year, strengthening the competitiveness of the Group in a sector in which it is already a world leader. CPE, the only manufacturer of cash registers in Romania, aims to provide ever greater support to the Government as a local manufacturer with know-how in taxation.
