From 1 July, the obligation to transmit takings electronically will come into force

- As established by Decree-Law 119/2018, from 1 July 2019 taxpayers with a turnover of more than 400,000 euros will be required to transmit their daily takings electronically to the Italian Revenue Agency, and from 1 January 2020 it will be mandatory for everyone. This is an electronic method of transmitting the daily takings of each point of sale to the Italian Revenue Agency, via a telematic cash register or, at the Retailer's choice, via an RT server.

 

- Throughout 2019 and 2020, for the purchase and adaptation of storage and transmission devices, a contribution totalling 50% of the expenditure incurred is granted, up to a maximum of 250 euros for a purchase and 50 euros for an adaptation, for each device. The contribution is granted to the same party in the form of a tax credit of the same amount, to be used as an offset.
