BestAll - The Receipt Lottery starts in January, but half of all cash registers are not ready

The Receipt Lottery starts in Italy on 1 January 2020. With the first requests for the codes to be shown to shopkeepers when making purchases, the Receipt Lottery machine has been set in motion ahead of its official start in January. On 1 December alone, when registration opened on the dedicated website, the Customs and Monopolies Agency recorded over 472,000 requests. But one month before the official start of the initiative, a potential problem lies above all in the telematic cash registers that have not yet been updated.

 

This delay is also highlighted by the Custom group, an Italian hi-tech company that has been producing integrated, connected technology solutions such as fiscal printers, telematic cash registers, POS and management software for retailers and businesses since 1992.
