Custom, a worldwide reference point for technological solutions for point-of-sale and public service automation, has won no fewer than 4 different awards thanks to a strategy and business plan launched more than 4 years ago. More specifically, the Group ranked among the top positions in various categories as a result of careful analysis carried out by leading Institutes, which identified and analysed financial performance, recording and assigning values higher than both the sector averages and the set of companies making up the reference sample in terms of growth, profitability and internationalisation.
"We are proud and honoured to have been selected and analysed by major organisations and to have received awards and recognition," says Carlo Stradi, President & CEO. "I share these important milestones with all 635 employees who work every day to best meet the needs of the market. Today Custom Group has become a worldwide reference point, offering the widest range of products for the automation of checkout solutions and public services. Humility, passion, determination and high professionalism are the foundations of our work, and this approach is probably rewarding the whole Group. We have begun a process of consolidating our recent acquisitions and, at the same time, introduced a strategy to strengthen our international expansion through a series of new Global distribution Channels," concludes Carlo Stradi. In chronological order, the Group has received the following awards:
Best Managed Companies – DELOITTE
28 May 2019, Custom received the prestigious award and recognition of Italian Best Managed Company during the final ceremony at Palazzo Mezzanotte in Milan. This was the second Italian edition of Deloitte's international award for companies that excel in organisational capability, strategy and performance. The initiative was carried out with the scientific support of ALTIS Università Cattolica and the backing of ELITE, the London Stock Exchange Group programme that fosters the development and growth of high-potential companies, and of Confindustria.
15 May 2019, an Intesa Sanpaolo initiative to promote companies that are an example of entrepreneurial excellence and of made in Italy. Over 1,800 companies applied on the Intesa Sanpaolo website as representatives of national excellence, with three categories identified for the "ImpreseVincenti" programme: industry and services, food & beverage, fashion and design. Intesa Sanpaolo, in collaboration with Bain&Company, ELITE and Gambero Rosso, created a genuine programme for Italian companies: an awareness-raising and outreach activity designed to present and tell the story of the growth of entrepreneurial excellence.
11 April 2019, Felix Magazine, in collaboration with Cerved Group S.p.A. and under the patronage of LUISS Guido Carli University, conferred its high honour for the best financial statements with an international focus.
5 April 2019, a survey of Italian companies carried out by the ItalyPost Research Centre, in collaboration with L'Economia del Corriere della Sera: research into the financial statements of Italian companies analysing their individual performance in terms of growth, profitability, capitalisation and financial independence over the last 6 years.
"These awards are a clear sign of the efforts of the R&D department," says Alberto Campanini, Technical Director & CTO. "We are characterised by an innovative, customer-oriented mindset that helps deliver easy-to-use technology. Custom's secret is revealed in its very name: following the customer by developing products with the innovations they want. Custom has a beating technical heart that takes on challenges every day as if for the first time, with the simplicity and humility typical of newcomers, but drawing on an essential wealth of experience built up over the last 27 years," concludes Alberto Campanini.
"Four important Awards where companies had the chance to present themselves to businesses in the area," says Alessandro Mastropasqua, Communications Manager of Custom Group. "Genuine awareness-raising events for a new collective awareness. Pooling projects, objectives, strategies and results is the way to share best practices, while also seeking opportunities for discussion and for networking by sharing experiences, know-how and goals."
